DAY 01 BALMACEDA - PUYUHUAPI LODGE & SPA (THURSDAY)
Reception at airport of Balmaceda, in the Patagonia region. We will start a 5 hour drive along the spectacular
Austral Road, which will lead us to the Puyuhuapi hot springs; this country road runs through the unspoiled
landscapes in an area declared a World Biosphere Reserve.
In Puyuhuapi we will take the Catamaran that will take us to Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa. Overnight.

DAY 02 PUYUHUAPI LODGE & SPA (FRIDAY)
Free day to enjoy the facilities of this tourist centre: a cosy bar, a restaurant of typical Chilean Gastronomy (i.e.
exquisite shellfish), a pool table, a video room, and open air thermal baths, by the sea. Overnight.

DAY 03 PUYUHUAPI LODGE & SPA (SATURDAY)
Trip to Puerto Puyuhuapi to visit their renowned Carpet factory and see its distinctive architecture. There is an
optional excursion to Queulat National Park to see the “Hanging Glacier”. Afternoon free. We suggest you hire a motor- or rowing boat, kayak, canoe, windsurf or water-ski. Overnight.

DAY 04 PUYUHUAPI LODGE & SPA (SUNDAY)
In the morning we will take a walk through the rainforest to a nearby beach where we will enjoy a beautiful view
over Dorita Bay and its fish farm. We will also be able to observe the wide variety of flora and birdliife of the region. Afternoon Free. Overnight.

DAY 05 PUYUHUAPI LODGE & SPA - LAGUNA SAN RAFAEL - PUERTO CHACABUCO - PUYHUAPI LODGE & SPA (MONDAY)
At 07.30 hrs. Patagonia Express catamaran sets sail from the hotel. The catamaran will sail along Ventisquero Sound,
and Puyuhuapi, Moraleda and Costa Channels to enter Tres Cruces Gulf, and Elefantes Estuary. At around 14.00 hrs.
we will arrive at San Rafael Lagoon and see 20.000 year-old San Rafael glacier. We will spend several hours sailing
these waters and getting close to the multicoloured ice floes. We may witness spontaneous and thunderous
displacements of ice from the glacier’s face littering the lagoon with multicoloured ice floes. Weather permitting;
on board rubber boats, you can approach the bizarre ice sculptures. Later we will start the journey back to
Chacabuco Port, with an estimated arrival at 10.00 PM Disembark and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 06 PUERTO CHACABUCO - COYHAIQUE - BALMACEDA (TUESDAY)
Departure in the morning to Coyhaique driving along the banks of the Simpson River. After approximately two and a
half hours we will arrive at Balmaceda airport, from where you will fly to Puerto Montt (or Santiago).

NOTES
* Operates from October to April. Departures on Thursday.
* Does not incluye air ticket Puerto Montt / Balmaceda / Puerto Montt.
* Includes land transfer, excursión in Catamarán from Puerto Puyuhuapi, full borrad, unlimited use of termal pools and spa.
* Sailing on board of the Catamarán Patagonia Express with meals included and open bar.
