DAY 01 SANTIAGO / HISTORIC CENTER / SANTIAGO Reception at airport in Santiago. And transfer to hotel. City tour, starting in Cerro Santa Lucía, where the city was founded in 1541 and San Cristóbal Hill. Then, visit to the government Palace “La Moneda”, and the Main Square, where it is possible to observe important national monuments like: the Cathedral, the Central Post Office and the Municipality of Santiago. Finally, after crossing Mapocho River, walking for different residential neighborhoods with a general vision of the large city, return to hotel in Santiago. Overnight. DAY 02 SANTIAGO / CAJÓN DEL MAIPO / SANTIAGO Departure from Santiago to Cajón del Maipo in “EL manzano” area to make rock climbing at mornig. Then, after a brief rest to enjoy the snack, arrival to Río Maipo to make rafting in rapids type III and IV during 1 hour. At the enn of the activities, a typical country lunch. Return to Santiago. Overnight. DAY 03 SANTIAGO / LA CAMPANA NATIONAL PARK / SANTIAGO Departure to the north, to arrive to Gran Valle del Aconcagua, where is a natural sanctuary protected by the impressive hill “La Campana”. At the side of the mountain is located La Campana national park with tree microclimates, a reserve of “Chilean Palms”, and a variety of flora and fauna studied by Charles Darwin; that turn this trekking in an unforgettable experience. Return to Santiago. Overnight. DAY 04 SANTIAGO / ACULEO LAGOON / SANTIAGO Departure from Santiago to Aculeo Lagoon which is 60 km. from Santiago. There it is possible to experience an afternoon in kayak. There are a lot of routes to discover in the lagoon, appreciating hills,mountains and beautiful landscapes which are reflected in the water. Typical country lunch. Return to Santiago. Overnight. DAY 05 SANTIAGO At agreed time, transfer to the airport for departure flight.
