PV1700PMC: Patagonian Canals in Evangelistas Vessel
DAY 01 – (FRIDAY) PUERTO MONTT - SENO RELONCAVI - GOLFO DE ANCUD - GOLFO CORCOVADO
Prior to sailing, briefing in the Navimag offices (14:00 Hrs.), followed by passenger boarding. Set sail around
16.00 hrs. Captain’s welcome, safety video presentation, and welcome dinner. Saling the Reloncaví Sound to arrive to the Gulf of Corcovado.
DAY 02 – (SATURDAY) MELINKA - PEREZ NORTE AND SUR CANALS - PULLUCHE CANAL
Sailing the Patagonian Channels, including Melinka and the North and South Channels. Sightings of Sea lion and cormorant colonies. During the day talks on the Kaweskar ethnic group and the Patagonian flora and fauna. In the afternoon, sailing the Pulluche Channel with its particularly thick and abundant vegetation. Later sailing
the open sea.
DAY 03 – (SUNDAY) MESSIER CANAL - PUERTO EDEN - PASO DEL ABISMO - CONCEPCION CANAL
Following a briefing, docking in Puerto Edén, a town with no roads, just a wooden walkway that connects the town. The Kaweskar people originally populated this town. In the afternoon, talk about the Patagonian geology and the Torres del Paine. In the evening, bingo and farewell party.
DAY 04 – (MONDAY) DE ÚLTIMA ESPERANZA CANAL - PUERTO NATALES
In the morning, enter the Last Hope Gulf, indicating the end of the journey. Arrival to Puerto Natales at approximately 11.00 hrs. (Depending on weather conditions).

This expedition is inspired in the wanderings of the Kaweskar ancestors. Sailing through channels, sounds and fjords, each time nearer to the light blue shimmer of the glaciers, the passengers will also visit a small village full of traditions and appreciate nature in those places. Finally the expedition gets to the centre of Campos de Hielo Sur (Southern Ice Fields).

Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world and the main port of the Southern Argentinean Patagonia. There is a lot to visit around the city, besides the natural attractions that have made this place famous. Mare Australis, the ship from Cruceros Australis, will sail through the Patagonian Channels and around Tierra del Fuego. Ground excursions to glaciers, islands, sea lion and penguin colonies, will be offered daily. Also we will sail trough the mythical Cabo de Hornos (Cape Horn), well known all around the globe.
